Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications, with C-section circulating and scrubbing experience.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Patient ratio of 1:6; candidates must have experience with this ratio and should expect potential reassignment to higher-volume facilities
• Epic EMR used; experience required
• Floating required within a network of up to 5 hospital locations based on staffing needs
• Block scheduling is not allowed

Requirements

• Active NJ RN license or compact license recognized in NJ required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Experience circulating and scrubbing for C-sections required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience working at a 1:6 patient ratio required
• COVID-19 vaccine required with no exemptions
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

Additional Information

• Must pass a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of contract signing; only 2 attempts are allowed and the test must be taken on a PC (not an iOS device)
• Failure to complete the Dysrhythmia test within the allotted timeframe or two failed attempts will result in contract cancellation
• Coverage required for 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday
• Scrubs are provided by the hospital
• Does not accept local candidates
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• First-time travelers are accepted but not preferred
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO submitted after will not be accepted
