Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications, with night shift availability and C-section experience.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:6, with potential for higher volumes at other facilities
• Floating required within a network of up to 5 hospital locations based on need
• Block scheduling is not allowed
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active NJ RN license or compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Minimum 1 year of L&D nursing experience
• Experience circulating and scrubbing for C-sections required
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios required
• Two current professional references required
• COVID-19 vaccine required — no exemptions
• Flu vaccine required — no exemptions

Additional Information

• Responsible for labor and delivery nursing care including C-section support in both circulator and scrub roles
• Must pass a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing — only 2 attempts allowed, and the test must be completed on a PC (not an iOS device)
• Two failed attempts or failure to complete the test within the allotted time will result in contract cancellation and a Do Not Return (DNR) status with the hospital system
• 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday coverage required
• Scrubs are provided by the hospital
• First-time travelers are accepted but not preferred
• RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — RTO requests submitted after will not be accepted
