Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, at least one prior travel assignment, and recent trauma center experience.

Details

• Position is based in a dedicated endoscopy unit performing primarily colonoscopies and basic endoscopic procedures
• Procedures requiring anesthesia are performed in rooms adjacent to the OR suites, while conscious sedation procedures are performed in the main floor endo unit
• Full-time 40-hour week on day shift
• Shifts are 8 hours with variable start times ranging from 6:15 AM to 8:00 AM depending on the day's case mix
• Flexibility required to stay beyond the scheduled shift end if a case runs long

Requirements

• Active VT or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• At least one prior travel assignment required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma Center experience within the last 2 years required
• Two professional references from managers required for consideration

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• License must remain active for the full duration of the assignment
