Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology Infusion RN for a day-shift outpatient clinic position requiring ONS/ONCC Chemo Certification and a minimum of 2 years of oncology experience.
Details
- Outpatient oncology infusion clinic setting
- Patient population includes all oncology diagnoses, GI/GU diagnoses requiring infusion, OB fluids/nausea/vomiting regimens, migraines, and antibiotic infusions; procedures include BCG, cystoscopies, intrathecal chemo, and research protocols
- Patient ratio of 1:7
- Charting via Epic (Excellian) — experience required
- Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (5x8s)
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including to nearby affiliate locations
- Block scheduling accommodated
Requirements
- Active MN RN license required; pending license accepted
- Current BLS and Chemo Certification (ONS or ONCC) required
- Minimum 2 years of oncology infusion nursing experience required
- Epic (Excellian) EMR experience required
- At least 1 supervisor professional reference required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion therapies to oncology and specialty patients
- Navy scrubs required
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space
- Pre-start online modules are required to be completed before the first day of the assignment
- Candidates who have previously worked at this health system as permanent staff or per diem must have been separated for at least 3 months from their last shift to be eligible
- RTO requests should not exceed 5 days for the duration of the contract
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
- Local candidates (within 100 miles of the facility) are not accepted
