- Rotational holiday coverage with core staff
- No on-call or standby requirement
- Floating required to Stepdown; if not needed there, may float to Med-Surg/Telemetry or to cover Stepdown or ICU patients boarded in the ED — travelers float in rotation, not always first to float

- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

Pros
MDs are easy to work with. Staff is decent and appreciative. Not a hard schedule(8-12 day in 2 labs) straight forward cases. Fair scheduling Late days are by schedule and not on your call day(get to leave on time if on call as late team stays to finish day) and usually not too late for the late team.
Cons
Would have extended but extension offer was far below my current contract pay.
