Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a GI/Endoscopy position in Pittsfield, MA, requiring 2 years of current endoscopy experience and an active MA RN license in hand.

Details

• Day shift position with 8-hour shifts and variable start times of 7a, 8a, or 9a — availability for any of these start times is required
• Hospital-based endoscopy unit
• Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to other units required as needed
• Meditech Expanse is the EMR system; experience is highly preferred

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration — the facility will not pend licensure
• Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of current endoscopy nursing experience required
• Endoscopy RN skills checklist (current within 1 year) required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment required
• Personal vehicle required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• RTO requests must be declared upfront — no more than 5 days of RTO will be accommodated, and requests made after submission will not be approved
• Candidates must meet all facility medical and vaccination compliance requirements
• 10- and 12-hour shift variations are not available for this position — candidates must be willing to work 8-hour shifts as posted
