Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Golden, CO, requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Works in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• 13-week travel contract
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts (1900–0730)
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend work is required
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active CO state or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — all must not expire prior to start date
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; performs health teaching and counseling; reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN is preferred but not required
