Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT certification to work in a Level I trauma center CT department.

Details

• Hospital-based CT department within a Level I trauma center that is also Stroke Accredited
• CT procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion
• Patient population spans emergency/emergent inpatient needs as well as outpatient cases
• 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every 3rd weekend shift runs from 2:30 PM to 3:00 AM (Saturday/Sunday)
• On-call rotation of one day every 10 weeks, with a required response time within one hour of being called

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required; license required if applicable
• ARRT Advanced certification preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure Level I trauma environment
• 2 professional references required for consideration: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); Charge RN is acceptable as a second reference; co-worker references are not accepted

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion studies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to regulatory compliance standards
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate — no radius restriction
• Former employees of this facility are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract duration
• All candidates are required to complete an Ohio fingerprinting process promptly after booking — detailed instructions will be provided by the credentialing team
