Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a PCU Float position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a willingness to float primarily to Med Surg.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float position in a hospital setting, with primary float support to Med Surg
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, on an alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (straight 48s may be considered)
• 84 hours biweekly
• 13-week contract
• Weekend availability required, which may include most weekends during the contract
• Block scheduling may be accommodated, but set schedules cannot be approved
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license (must be in hand)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Must be willing to float, primarily to Med Surg

Additional Information

• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result will result in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid anything that could produce a positive result, including CBD products, prior to and during the assignment
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
