Description
American Traveler is seeking a Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS certification and 2+ years of acute care hospital experience for a general sonography position in Santa Rosa, CA.
Details
- General ultrasound unit in an acute care hospital setting
- Performs a full range of ultrasound procedures across scheduled and unscheduled patient exams
- Evening shifts, 5x8 hours from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, with some overnight shifts as needed
- Weekend rotation required
- On-call required based on census
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in an acute care hospital setting
- Current ARDMS registration required
- BLS (AHA) required
- CA state license required if applicable
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, producing quality diagnostic images, processing films, preparing service records, and transporting patients to and from the department
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- Former employees or travelers must have been away from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only one holiday off request will be approved during the contract
