Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg-Tele RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring an active IA or compact RN license and at least one year of experience.

Details

• Medical unit setting focused on med/surg and telemetry patients
• 13-week assignment with night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every third weekend required
• Every other holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required for specific units such as CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, and SICU
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications may be required depending on unit
• License verification dated within 30 days of start required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a medical/surgical telemetry unit
• Radius rule of 60 miles applies for most locations, with exceptions of 90 miles for MercyOne and Genesis locations in IA and IL, 50 miles for St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center in NY, and 75 miles for St. Peter's Health Partners locations in NY
• Local candidates accepted in select states including CA, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, MD, MA, MI, NC, NE, NY, OH, OR, and PA
• Local candidates not accepted at MercyOne and Genesis locations in IA and IL, St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center in NY, or St. Peter's Health Partners locations in NY
• COVID vaccination documentation required for consideration
