Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular OR/CVOR position requiring at least 1 year of CVOR/Open Heart experience and active Oregon RN licensure.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room of Surgery at an acute care hospital facility
• Serves a broad patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients
• Cardiac surgical and procedural sedation cases; works with a variety of provider specialties
• Supports both same-day discharge and inpatient admission cases
• Day shift with varied scheduling and rotating weekends
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license currently in hand
• Valid OR RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (Healthcare Provider level) and ACLS (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR, or completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing class
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU/PCU and/or medical/surgical acute care setting
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR/Open Heart experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Scrubbing experience preferred
