Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Massachusetts, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and evening shift availability.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Evening shift schedule, 4x8-hour shifts (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• No call or float requirements
• Medication management via Omnicell; documentation via Meditech Expanse

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Med/Surg Telemetry unit experience required
• BLS certification required
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Orientation consists of 16 hours with a preceptor, structured as either two 8-hour or two 12-hour shifts
• Meditech Expanse used for documentation
• Any color scrubs are acceptable
• Local candidates are welcome to apply at the travel rate
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
