Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Worcester, MA, requiring a permanent MA RN license and a minimum of 1.5 years of ER experience.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) setting at a hospital in Worcester, MA
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Shift start time flexibility of up to four hours before or after the posted start time is possible, though this occurs very rarely and only when there is an urgent staffing need
• Telemetry monitoring required as part of patient care
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Permanent MA RN license currently in hand (required)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Minimum of 1.5 years of RN experience required
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry required
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Must have a clear nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions

Additional Information

• Orientation includes two pass/fail exams: a medication exam and a telemetry/EKG exam — each allows only one attempt, and a failed exam will result in immediate contract cancellation
• Study materials will be provided prior to orientation to help prepare for both exams
• Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required
