Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Wyoming, requiring a valid WY or compact RN license and strong ER experience.
Details
- Emergency Room (ED) department in a hospital setting
- Varied shifts covering all shift types (days, evenings, nights)
- Handles a broad ED patient population including pediatric and neonatal cases
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active WY RN license or compact RN license currently in hand and in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of ED/ER nursing experience required
- Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and ATT (Trauma)
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within scope of practice
- Provides patient education, transcribes and implements physician orders and protocols, and coordinates care with ancillary team members
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) is required; ENPC or ATCN is highly recommended
- De-escalation program certification and procedural sedation module completion will be required
- QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) suicide prevention training will be required
- Annual CEU completion is expected throughout the assignment
- Position is classified as Rapid Response/Crisis — expedited placement is expected
