Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Sarasota, FL, requiring active MRI tech credentials and recent hands-on MRI experience.
Details
- Hospital-based MRI department
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday through Friday
- Rotating call required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active ARRT (MRI) or equivalent MRI technologist certification/license required — license required if applicable
- Minimum 6 months of MRI experience within the last 6 months
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required (must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Two professional references required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- Traveler is expected to work every other weekend in rotation with hospital staff
- Holiday coverage is required on a rotating basis with hospital employees
- Radiology staff wear black scrubs
