Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position at a Level II Trauma Center in Hudson, FL, requiring the ability to scrub and circulate with at least 1 year of endoscopy experience.

Details

  • Work in the Endoscopy/Bronchoscopy unit of a 309-bed Level II Trauma Center
  • Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with on-call shifts 1–2 days per week
  • Two weekend days per month required, with every other weekend worked in rotation with hospital staff
  • Holiday coverage required in rotation with hospital employees
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active FL RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in endoscopy or GI
  • Ability to both scrub and circulate is required
  • US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
  • Two professional references required (per FL state requirement)
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Provides nursing care for endoscopy and bronchoscopy procedures, performing both scrub and circulate roles
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
  • Navy blue scrubs are required for RNs
  • Parking is available anywhere on campus except the ER parking area
