Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a Neuro ICU position in Lexington, KY, requiring ACLS, NIHSS, and night shift availability.
Details
- 19-bed Neuro ICU within a hospital setting
- Patient population includes CVA, neurosurgical, carotid surgery, carotid stent, surgical post-op, cardiac interventions, sepsis, general surgery, and complex critical care patients
- Unit supports a comprehensive stroke program for critical care placements
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hrs/week)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license in Kentucky or a compact state
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation
- ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
- ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
- MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
