Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Level III Trauma Center in Washington, with Epic experience required and on-call responsibilities every 2-3 weekends and nights per week.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
- Cath Lab unit performing cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology (IR) procedures
- RN roles include sedation and circulator responsibilities
- Patient ratio of 1-2 RNs per procedure
- Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- On-call required every 2-3 weekends and 2-3 nights per week, including weekend on-call shifts
- No floating between units within this facility; however, travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state of Washington
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- No floating within the unit
Requirements
- Active RN license in Washington State or a valid Compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
- Interventional radiology (IR) experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs scrub, sedation, and circulator roles during cardiac cath and IR procedures
- All scrub colors are accepted
- No parking fee at this facility
- Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
- Former permanent employees of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
