Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of MS/Tele experience and prior travel assignment history.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Adult MS/Tele patient population only — travelers are not expected to care for pediatric patients
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
• Every other weekend required — 6 weekend shifts over 6 weeks
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) experience required — adult setting only
• At least 1 prior completed travel nursing assignment required
• Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
