Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a minimum of 2 years of MS/Tele experience and at least one prior travel assignment.
Details
- Med/Surg Telemetry unit in an acute care hospital setting
- Adult patient population only; no pediatric care expected
- Patient ratio of 1:5-6
- Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Every other weekend required (6 shifts over 6 weeks)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry (adult) experience required
- At least one prior travel nursing assignment required
- Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- Weekly orientation provided upon start
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position; at least one completed travel assignment is required
- PALS certification is not expected or required
