Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of MS/Tele experience and prior travel assignment history, working nights on a 13-week contract.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Adult patient population only — travelers are not expected to care for pediatric patients
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required (6 shifts per 6 weeks)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Experience must be in an adult MS/Tele setting
• At least one prior travel assignment required
• Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
• Two professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

• PALS certification is not required for this role
