Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (L&D) night shift position in California, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and the ability to circulate and recover C-section patients.

Details

L&D unit within a hospital setting, with floating required to the Postpartum department
Patient care includes laboring patients, C-section circulating and recovery, and newborn care during the recovery period
Epic EMR experience required
Night shift schedule: 1900–0730
Every other weekend requirement
13-week contract with 36 hours per week

Requirements

Active CA RN license currently in hand
Minimum 2 years of L&D RN experience required
Current certifications required: NRP, BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and Fetal Monitoring
Proficiency with Epic EMR required
Ability to circulate and recover C-section patients required
SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

Provide labor and delivery nursing care, including C-section circulating and recovery
Ability to care for newborns during the recovery period is preferred
Float to the Postpartum department as needed
