Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a minimum of 3 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and trauma surgery skills for a 13-week travel contract.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room of an acute care hospital setting
• Ortho trauma, craniotomy, and trauma surgery cases performed in a Trauma Level II facility
• Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM; Day shift: 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• On-call required: 2 weeknights every 6 weeks, plus one weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 12-hour day or night shifts) every month and a half
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active RN license with OR endorsement required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required
• Experience with ortho trauma, craniotomy, and trauma surgery in a Trauma Level II setting required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; proof of address required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers with a minimum of 3 years of experience will be considered
• Pending OR RN license may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• RTO is capped at a maximum of 7 days for the 13-week assignment; all time-off requests must be submitted upfront
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility
