Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and STEMI and Stroke facility experience.
Details
- Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department serving all age groups
- Special care populations include cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health
- Hospital specialties include a cath lab, women's health, and stroke care
- Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, with occasional 3:00 PM–3:00 AM shifts as needed
- Up to every other weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
- No on-call responsibilities
- Epic EMR experience is mandatory
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
