Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a short-term acute care hospital in Florida, requiring at least 18 months of IR experience and active FL or compact RN license.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 180 staffed beds
- Interventional Radiology unit focused on circulating procedures in IR/IN and providing patient care during prep and recovery phases
- Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Charting via Epic EMR
- Floating required to all 3 affiliated hospitals (Martin North, Martin South, and Martin Tradition — all within 20 miles)
- On-call required; candidates must be able to respond to the hospital within 30 minutes when on call
- Block scheduling is not available for this position
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required; pending license accepted
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be obtained prior to start
- Minimum 18 months of IR experience required; 2 years preferred
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine/cotinine testing required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
- Scrub color: white
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as RTO added after consideration will likely not be approved
- Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be prioritized and completed promptly once an assignment is confirmed
- This is a smoke-free and nicotine-free facility — no exceptions
- Travelers may not work at any Cleveland Clinic location for more than 18 consecutive months, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
