Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Long Term Care position in Miles City, MT, requiring 1 year of LTC experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

• Long Term Care unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• 13-week contract
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA only); must not expire prior to assignment start
• Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care nursing experience required
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be able to lift objects over 100 lbs, with frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs holistic, age-specific assessments and develops individualized nursing plans of care for assigned residents
• Analyzes clinical data (lab, imaging, diagnostics) to inform and adjust resident care plans
• Identifies and reports signs of neglect or abuse (child, domestic, or elder)
• Coordinates discharge planning and delegates discharge activities including transfer documents and follow-up instructions
• Educates residents and families on care needs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Maintains working knowledge of CMS regulations, Medicare skilled criteria, and MDS documentation requirements
• Supervises, coaches, and evaluates CNA staff performance
• Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
