Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of radiology experience, ARRT registration, and CT certification for a travel assignment in Butte, MT.
Details
- Radiology department in an acute care hospital setting
- Performs diagnostic X-ray and CT procedures
- 3 days per week with a mix of 12-hour and 8-hour day shifts
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology
- Active ARRT registration required
- CT certification required
- Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (must not expire prior to start date)
- Active state license required (if applicable)
- Proficiency with contrast preparation and administration, image quality evaluation, sterile technique, and infection prevention
- Experience with radiation safety measures (ALARA)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant computer applications
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs diagnostic X-ray procedures including patient positioning, immobilization, and image submission to Radiologist for interpretation
- Prepares and administers contrast per Radiologist protocol and follows ALARA radiation safety principles
- Supervises and evaluates student radiographers in the clinical setting
- Coordinates X-ray examinations to ensure timeliness, quality, and continuity of patient care
- A personal radiation monitoring dosimeter (badge) is required for this assignment; use of an existing badge from a prior employer is encouraged to maintain continuous exposure history
- Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
