Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Ortho (IMC) position at a hospital in Golden, CO, requiring 1+ year of Med/Ortho experience and active AHA certifications.

• Med/Ortho inpatient unit at a hospital in Golden, CO
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts (0700–1930)
• 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
• Weekend availability required
• Charting performed in Epic EMR
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — all must not expire prior to assignment start
• TNCC preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Ortho RN experience required
• ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• This is a Med/Ortho position — not a Step-Down or IMC/PCU role
• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as patient education and care coordination through delegation, supervision, and consultation
• Former permanent employees of any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
