Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics (IMC) position requiring at least 1 year of specialty experience, active CO or compact RN license, and night shift availability including weekends.

Details

• Inpatient Med/Surg Orthopedics unit — this is not a Step-Down or IMC position despite the job code label
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour nights)
• 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
• Weekend availability required
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
• Charting performed in Epic

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Orthopedics RN experience required
• Required certifications (must be AHA and valid through assignment start): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• TNCC preferred
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care including health teaching, counseling, and execution of delegated medical functions
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, refers patients as needed, and documents per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• All certifications must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to the assignment start date
