Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position at a Level 1 facility, requiring CSICU/CVICU experience and Epic proficiency on a night shift schedule.

Details

  • Cardiac surgery intensive care unit (CVICU) setting within a Level 1 hospital
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Epic EMR is required with no exceptions

Requirements

  • Active VA or Compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 12 months of CSICU/CVICU experience required
  • Prior experience at a Level 1 facility required
  • Proficiency in Epic EMR required
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE accreditation); diploma, ADN, or BSN accepted
  • 2 professional references from supervisor level or above required for consideration
  • BSN preferred

Additional Information

  • Candidates must not have been employees of this health system within the previous 12 months
  • This is a drug-free and tobacco-free campus — smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises
  • Facility enforces a natural nail policy
  • Time-off requests must be submitted at time of consideration; requests submitted after placement may be declined
  • Holiday time off is not guaranteed

Endoscopy unit is a well run, well oiled machine. Staff is very professional and management on point! It was my favorite travel job so far!

Cons

The fact that you need to walk through metal detectors, but it’s for everyone’s safety!
