Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step-Down Unit position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and availability for night shifts including weekends and holidays.

Details

• Step-down unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
• May be asked to float to other step-down or med-surg units
• No on-call requirements
• Epic EMR experience required
• May care for COVID-positive patients

Requirements

• Active PA or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Step-down or comparable clinical experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Additional Information

• Candidates undergo a clinical review process prior to manager interview to determine clinical fit
• Manager interview is required as part of the selection process
• This is a tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) for the contract
• Candidates living within the local area may be eligible but at a reduced rate compared to the standard travel rate
• All time off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
