Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric ICU (PICU) position requiring BLS and PALS certifications, working night or rotating shifts at a university medical center.
Details
- Located within a university medical center PICU
- Pediatric intensive care patient population
- Schedule: Night or rotating shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM or 7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
- 3 weekends required per every six-week schedule
- Every other holiday coverage required
- May be required to float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs
- EMR: Epic experience required
Requirements
- Active VA or Compact RN license; pending VA license accepted
- Current BLS and PALS certifications required
- PICU or pediatric nursing experience required
- Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus
- Epic EMR experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
Additional Information
- 13-week contract
- No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
- Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning
- Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract; no time off approved during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
