Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient clinic position in Southern New Hampshire, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and Epic EMR proficiency.
Details
- Outpatient clinic setting focused on orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
- Patient population includes post-op orthopedic cases (shoulder, hip, knee, spinal), degenerative conditions (DDD, DJD, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis), spinal conditions, and neurological rehabilitation
- Clinical skills include extremity and spinal mobilization, lumbar traction, gait training, taping, strength testing, pain assessment, and plan of care management
- Schedule: Monday 7:00AM–5:30PM, Tuesday/Thursday 8:30AM–7:30PM, Friday 7:00AM–4:30PM (4x10-hour shifts)
- No call, float, or weekend shifts required
- Epic EMR used for charting; experience required
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at a reduced local rate
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required
- Valid NH state PT license required if applicable
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions including post-op care, spinal conditions, and joint replacements required
- Proficiency in patient/family education, home exercise programs, AROM/AAROM/PROM, body mechanics, and vital signs
- Only AHA or Red Cross certifications accepted
- Professional references required; candidates may be considered with one reference on file and a second pending
- Preferred: CPR/BLS, orthopedic specializations (McKenzie, Graston, dry needling, myofascial release), cervical traction, TENS, ultrasound, phonophoresis, lymphedema, and concussion management experience
Additional Information
- Orientation is conducted on-site by the clinic manager
- Former employees of any facility associated with SolutionHealth are not eligible for this position, regardless of length of separation or time previously worked
- Travelers who have previously worked at any SolutionHealth-affiliated facility will not be considered
- First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience
