Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a 13-week travel contract, requiring an ONS Chemo/Bio provider card and experience in an oncology inpatient setting.

Details

Oncology unit within an academic medical center setting
Day shift schedule: either 4x10-hour shifts (8:00–18:30 or 9:00–19:30) or 4x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
Every 4th weekend required
Floating to two local infusion centers is possible but unlikely
Epic EMR experience required
13-week contract

Requirements

Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license accepted
Current BLS certification required
ONS Chemo/Bio provider card required
Experience with cellular therapies (stem cell/CAR-T) preferred
Two professional references required for consideration
Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

Experience in oncology nursing including chemotherapy and biotherapy administration
No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
Any planned time off between signing and start date should be communicated upfront
