Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a 13-week travel contract, requiring an ONS Chemo/Bio provider card and experience in an oncology inpatient setting.

Details

  • Oncology unit within an academic medical center setting
  • Day shift schedule: either 4x10-hour shifts (8:00–18:30 or 9:00–19:30) or 4x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
  • Every 4th weekend required
  • Floating to two local infusion centers is possible but unlikely
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license accepted
  • Current BLS certification required
  • ONS Chemo/Bio provider card required
  • Experience with cellular therapies (stem cell/CAR-T) preferred
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Experience in oncology nursing including chemotherapy and biotherapy administration
  • No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
  • Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
  • Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
  • Any planned time off between signing and start date should be communicated upfront
