Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring an active ONS Chemo/Bio provider card and experience with infusion-based oncology care.
Details
- Oncology unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, offered as either 4x10s (8:00–18:30 or 9:00–19:30) or 4x12s (7:00–19:30)
- Every 4th weekend required
- Occasional floating to local infusion centers may be required, though uncommon
- Epic EMR experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license will be accepted for consideration
- Current BLS certification required
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy provider card required
- Experience with cellular therapies (stem cell and/or CAR-T) preferred
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Experience with cellular therapies such as stem cell transplant and CAR-T is a plus for this role
- Local candidates are welcome to apply — no radius rule in effect
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
- Up to 40 hours of RTO available per contract
- Any planned time off should be communicated at the time of consideration to ensure an appropriate start date
