Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down Unit position at a short-term acute care hospital, requiring ACLS and BLS certifications and a valid MO or compact RN license.
Details
- Step-Down Unit in a 99-bed short-term acute care hospital
- Float rotation required to Med Tele, Med Surg, and Rehab units as needed
- Patient ratio of 1:3
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
- On-call required every 3rd weekend
- Charting performed in Epic
- Free parking available on-site
Requirements
- Active MO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA-issued BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 1–2 years of RN experience required
- Experience administering drips including Cardizem, Amio, Heparin, and Dobutamine
- Experience with special procedures and equipment including Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, BiPAP, and Airvo
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- May be assigned Charge Nurse duties based on facility needs
- Must be comfortable caring for isolation patients, including COVID-positive patients
- Black scrubs required
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application
- Block scheduling requests will be considered at time of submission
