Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a chemotherapy unit position requiring prior outpatient cancer center experience and Epic Beacon proficiency.

Details

  • Inpatient chemotherapy unit (Chemotherapy 002) within a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • 13-week contract
  • Weekend requirement: every 5th weekend, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM shift
  • Rotating holiday coverage with regular staff, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM shift
  • No on-call requirements at this time
  • Floating may be required onsite within skill set, or to facilities within a 40-mile radius as needed
  • EMR: Epic (Beacon) — prior experience preferred

Requirements

  • Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current BLS certification (AHA-issued) required
  • Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • Prior outpatient cancer center experience required
  • Epic Beacon EMR experience preferred
  • Travel nursing experience preferred
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Copy of driver's license required for consideration
  • Full Social Security Number and full date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments to oncology patients
  • Local candidates are accepted; however, travel pay rates may be reduced based on proximity to the facility — contact your recruiter for details
  • COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
