Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience to support a Comprehensive Stroke Program at a hospital utilizing advanced neuro-interventional technology.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital with a Comprehensive Stroke Program
- 13-week assignment with a schedule of 07:00-15:30
- Unit is equipped with a new Philips biplane system for neuro-interventional procedures
- Perform mechanical endovascular reperfusion (MER) procedures
- Perform Y90 radioembolization, peripheral vascular intervention, kyphoplasty, and embolization procedures including Onyx and Embosphere
- Utilize IVUS, Philips Laser, AngioJet, Jetstream, Shockwave, and Inari/Penumbra equipment
- May float between units or facilities within a 35-mile radius based on staffing needs, with advance notice provided before any float shift
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification through AHA
- Scrub experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to assignment start
