Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a day-shift outpatient/rehabilitation position at an APTA award-winning private practice in Paso Robles, CA.

Details

• Outpatient/rehabilitation clinic setting
• Day shift schedule: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week or possible 4x10 schedule
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA Physical Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Degree in Physical Therapy required
• Proficiency in EMR documentation required
• Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and familiarity with PT billing procedures required
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, assist with patient transfers, and remain physically mobile including walking and prolonged standing for 8–10 hour shifts
• Strong computer skills including typing, MS Word, and internet navigation
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

• Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, supervising PT Assistants and Aides, and collaborating with physicians and front office staff
• Candidates will be responsible for patient chart documentation, follow-up on prescriptions, test results, and authorizations
• Participation in business marketing and referral processes may be required
• Continuing education is preferred
• No travel is expected for this position
