Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week day shift assignment at an acute care hospital in Fort Smith, AR, requiring 2+ years of MRI experience and current ARRT certification.

Details

• Work in the MRI department of a 336-bed acute care hospital in Fort Smith, AR
• Patient population includes outpatients, inpatients, and ED patients
• Outpatient scans are scheduled in the mornings on Saturdays and Sundays; the remainder of the day is dedicated to inpatient and ER scans
• A dedicated imaging assistant is available on Saturdays and Sundays to assist with patient transfers, lifts, and transports
• 3x12 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekend shifts are Friday through Sunday (7a–7p)
• No call requirements
• No float requirements
• Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent MRI experience required
• Current ARRT certification required
• Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License required (license required if applicable)
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• All licenses and certifications must be active; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documentation of a scheduled renewal is provided
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
• No gaps in employment of 90 or more days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Black scrubs required
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate
• Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at the facility; after that, they must separate from the facility for a minimum of 1 year or transition to a facility outside the 50-mile radius
