Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Step Down night shift position requiring BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications with a 50-mile radius requirement.

Details

  • Progressive Care Unit (Step Down) in a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
  • 13-week contract
  • Patient ratio of 5:1

Requirements

  • Active MS or Compact RN license required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS required (may be obtained within first 3 weeks of assignment)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Step Down experience required
  • No certification may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
  • Must maintain a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Valid driver's license required for consideration
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Royal blue scrubs required
  • RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
  • Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
