Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Step Down night shift position requiring BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications with a 50-mile radius requirement.
Details
- Progressive Care Unit (Step Down) in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- 13-week contract
- Patient ratio of 5:1
Requirements
- Active MS or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS required (may be obtained within first 3 weeks of assignment)
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Step Down experience required
- No certification may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
- Must maintain a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Royal blue scrubs required
- RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
- Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
