Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab travel position in Crestview, FL, requiring 5 years of experience and an active FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Located in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab (Cardio-Cath Lab unit)
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with call coverage in the afternoons and on weekends
• Holiday rotation required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the start date)
• 5 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred; minimum 1 year of recent specialty experience required
• Per Florida Statute, candidates must have 500 hours of experience at a cardiothoracic surgical site, or 500 hours at a facility performing more than 500 PCIs per year
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• US Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted

Additional Information

• AHCA fingerprinting is required for all Florida placements
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Must be available to respond on-site within 30 minutes when on call
