Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a NY RN license and the ability to cover L&D, Postpartum, Mother/Baby, and Nursery on night shifts.

Details

• Acute care hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Unit includes 4 birthing rooms and up to 12 postpartum rooms with overflow into a swing unit
• Covers Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Mother/Baby, and Nursery
• Advanced fetal monitoring experience is preferred; basic fetal monitoring is acceptable
• EMR: Epic
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p–7a
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• COVID vaccination required — declination forms are not accepted

Additional Information

• Well-rounded L&D experience expected, with ability to rotate across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Mother/Baby, and Nursery
• Unit manager conducts interviews
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — no exceptions
