Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU experience and Epic proficiency for a night shift, 13-week contract.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
• Patient ratio is approximately 1:3
• Telemetry monitoring is a core component of patient care
• Schedule is nights (7p–7:30a), 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Rotating weekends and rotating holidays required
• On-call is required for this position
• Floating to units of equivalent or lower acuity level is required
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• IV start proficiency required
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the 2nd reference — co-worker references are not accepted
