Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with pediatric experience for a day shift contract at a children's specialty hospital in Mountainside, NJ.

Details

• Pediatric respiratory therapy unit at a children's specialty hospital
• Patient population includes infants, pediatric, and adolescent patients
• Ventilator management is a core component of the role
• Charting system: Epic
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3x12-hour shifts per week)
• Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• CRT or RRT credential required
• NBRC certification required
• BLS required
• Minimum 1.5 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Ventilator management experience required
• Active NJ or Compact license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two current references required for consideration
• Copy of certifications required for consideration
• NURSYS and state license verification required for consideration (if applicable)

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved prior to an offer being made
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Former employees of the RWJBH health system (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
