Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital setting, with a minimum of 1 year of experience and Epic EMR proficiency required.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with 277 staffed beds
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- 13-week contract
- Caseload includes patients with acute and chronic disorders requiring functional activity support, fall/risk assessment, and billing documentation
- Epic EMR used; experience required
- Floating between like units is required; travelers may also be expected to float between all facilities within the state
- Free parking on-site
Requirements
- Current, active OT license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proficiency in infection prevention, fall/risk assessment, billing, acute and chronic disorder management, and functional activities
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted
- Block scheduling may be accommodated at the manager's discretion
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission
- Scrubs should be any solid color; avoid royal blue
- Orientation is 16 hours
- Former permanent staff at a Providence facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
- Candidates who have previously worked at a Providence facility in any capacity (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must disclose the location(s) and dates of employment
