Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab travel position in Florida, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience and active ACLS and BLS certifications.

Details

• Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 7 holding beds
• Procedures performed include TAVR, PFO closure, Atherectomy, PCI, Right/Left Heart Catheterization, Impella/IABP, implants, DCCV, and TEE
• Equipment includes GE Innova and Impella devices
• Documentation systems: MacLab and Meditech
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with self-scheduling
• STEMI call required approximately 10–12 days per month
• Floating may be required within related departments, including EP and Stress Lab

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA or ARC certifications: BLS and ACLS (must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience required
• Experience with Structural Heart procedures, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required for Florida-based candidates

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• The facility is an acute care hospital offering open heart surgery, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, and an Accredited Chest Pain Center
• The unit has an experienced staff and has received recognition through Daisy and Sunflower Awards
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
