Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring Epic proficiency and ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications, with night shift availability every other weekend.
Details
- Hospital ICU setting serving trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro patient populations
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Floating within scope to IMC (Intermediate Care) may be required to meet facility needs
- No on-call requirements
- Block scheduling is not available
- Epic EMR experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MD or compact RN license; pending license will be accepted
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; 3+ years preferred
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Local candidates are not eligible for this position
- Maximum of 1 RTO request allowed for the duration of the contract
