Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU/PCU position at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and the ability to float to Med-Surg as needed.

• 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting
• ICU/PCU unit with Med-Surg float responsibilities
• Night shift schedule
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WA state or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Experience across ICU, PCU, and Med-Surg settings required
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient education, safety measures, infection control, and accurate documentation
• Must demonstrate safe operation of equipment in PCU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg areas, including troubleshooting as needed
• Responsible for timely communication of critical lab values to physicians and accurate physician order completion
• Maintains and restocks emergency carts and general supplies
• COVID-19 vaccine not required for this position
